The Mattin Center is at a "T" with Charles and 33rd Streets on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus.  Shriver Hall is behind the Mattin Center in the direction of Decker Quad. A cab ride from Penn Station in Baltimore is just five minutes straight up Charles Street and should cost under $10. It’s a twenty minute drive from BWI airport; a cab from the airport will cost around $40. If you aren't renting a car, the SuperShuttle is also an option.

DIRECTIONS

The closest hotels (all within 4 blocks of the event venues) are:
The Hopkins Inn
The Broadview
Inn at the Colonnade (DoubleTree)

If you are coming with family, any hotel in the Inner Harbor area will give the kids plenty to do while you dance! If you are on a budget and using a website like priceline.com or hotels.com, you can usually find bargains on hotels in the BWI area, 20 minutes away.

There are at least a dozen places to eat within 3 blocks of the Mattin Center, including Blimpie's, Donna's, Eddie's Market, Gertrude's, Sam's Bagles, Starbucks, Subway, and Xando Coffee. There are ATMs nearby on Charles and Saint Paul Streets, and in Gilman Hall. Just across the quad from Gilman is a cafe that serves sandwiches in the Library. Google has a useful map of the area.
